Cube Café, Cheese Bar, & Marketplace’s menu is constantly rotating and is inspired by regional Italian cooking. Our Executive Chef Jun Tan & Sous Chef James Henry shop the Santa Monica farmer’s market weekly, searching for the finest local produce to utilize on the menu. Additionally, we use organic ingredients whenever possible, and select meats that are raised sustainably, naturally, and with cruelty-free practices. Our chefs create a menu that is complex in flavor, but simple and clean with its use of ingredients to display the very best of Italian cooking practices. Every plate is tried by our entire staff and perfected before ever being presented to our customers. Cube takes great pride is offering incredible food along side terrific customer service. Cube’s wine selection includes over 400 boutique wines hailing from all 20 regions of Italy. Our wine director travels to Italy regularly to seek out unusual and esoteric selections that are perfectly suited to complement both seasonal and year-round café menu offerings. Cube’s cheese & charcuterie menu changes with the seasons and boasts many favorites but also secret finds from around the United States and Italy. Amber, our resident cheesemonger, can prepare a one-of-a-kind cheese plate for you to discover new and interesting types of cheese & charcuterie, or you can mix and match whatever you fancy! Our amazing cheese plates are a favorite among our customers and are served on a piece of slate with the name and origin of each selection written out. Each cheese plate comes with warm, homemade pizza bread cooked in our brick pizza oven and an array of other small accoutrements like honey, jam, olives, or dried fruit. We also offer anything in our cheese case for retail sale by the pound, just simply ask your server for assistance.
